Research on GHK-Cu investigates a copper(II) complex of the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, a sequence present in human plasma and in collagen. In-vitro studies in dermal-fibroblast cultures characterise its stimulation of collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis at picomolar-to-nanomolar concentrations.
